Excel Category 6a System launched
April 2008 – Excel, the complete end-to-end networking solution, has launched their new Category 6a range of products to its accredited installer and sub distribution base across Europe, Middle East and Africa.
The new product set has been designed to be quick and easy to install whilst offering performance levels which are consistently above those required by the ISO and TIA standards body. Based around a dual foil shielded 4 pair cable, the system utilises an
innovative die cast butterfly style toolless keystone jack, at both the patch panel and work area.
Excel Cat 6a is fully compliant to the current standard requirements and has Independent certification pending. Backed by the 25 year product and applications warranty the Excel product range provides a quality solution at a competitive price.
As well as focusing on the installed system performance the Excel design team has been able to create a product set which is both of high build quality and aesthetically pleasing. The Ice blue low smoke zero halogen cable, complements the chrome finish of the patch panel and jacks.

This new range of Category 6a products joins the current set of Category 5e and 6 in offering the option of being supplied as a pre-terminated solution to help reduce the time of installation on site and ensure repeatable quality throughout the job – each cable loom is fully tested and supplied with a test certificate.
