Since the brand was launched to the UK market in 1997, Excel has enjoyed formidable growth and is now reported in the latest BSRIA UK market report as the 3rd largest structured cabling brand with 11% share of the UK market in 2010.

Following expansion into international markets from 1996 the system is a growing force in markets across EMEA, with customers supported in over 28 countries by Excel offices in Birmingham, St Neots, and City Of London in the UK, Madrid in Spain, Dubai in the United Arab Emirates and Hong Kong.

The meteoric rise of the brand reflects a growing demand throughout EMEA for a reliable, standards-compliant, readily available, structured cabling and racking system. Excel is able to deliver this mix through a growing base of distributors and integrators across the region, which combine to make the brand an increasingly viable option.   • Third Party Verification

    Excel has invested in test and verification programmes for over 10 years working closely with third party laboratories such as Delta in Denmark.

    Third party verifications are an independent tick in the box, verifying either a product or a set of products compliance with a particular performance standard.

    The Excel Category 6 and Category 6A systems are amongst very few systems on the market that carry both a Channel and Component Certification.

    Not all vendors offer this level of assurance, or maintain their verification annually. We encourage you to compare the Excel strength in this area with others in the market.

  • Excel Warranty Programme

    The Excel 25 year product and application warranty is only available when systems are designed, installed, and tested by Excel Partners with current training certification in place. Warranties are issued only after an audit of test data, and at the discretion of the Excel technical support team a site audit. In all cases 100% of the links which require warranty support must be tested.

      25 year product and application warranty as standard on all installations completed by an Accredited Excel Partner.
      Covers all Excel products, cabinets, copper, fibre optic and voice cabling systems.
      Registered sites covered by 25 year application warranty.
      Link warranty as standard, channel on application.
      Issued to latest published standards.
      Bandwidth warranty. For example Category 6A warranties assure support of all applications current and future designed to operate at up to 500MHZ.
      Warranty applications typically processed in 5 working days.

  • Excel Partner Programme

    The Excel Partner programme offers two levels of accreditation to installation companies, an Excel Cabling Partner (ECP) and an Excel Solutions Partner (ESP).

    Acceptance to either programme follows an application process based around technical and commercial capability, commitment to undergo extensive training and sit an exam to demonstrate a full understanding of the Excel Structured Cabling System and how to design, install and test systems in accordance with the Excel guidelines, best practice and above all standards compliance.
